The Chapel...

Services are every Sunday at 2 p.m.

The first Sunday in the month is for children of any age.

Communion Service is held the third Sunday of the Month

We like to think of our Chapel as a small friendly place where people

meet, hear the local news and support one another in many circumstances

sharing joys as well as sorrows.

The Chapel is situated at the bottom on Long Lane in Tockholes

and was one of the first established non-conformist Chapels in

our area, founded in 1662. Over many years of its history it has

been a well loved place of worship extending a warm welcome

for nearly 350 years to all the people of our village and beyond.

Founded 1662

The present Church built in 1880 stands on the foundation of the original Church which was built in 1710.  Both the exterior and interior has always been well cared for including the graveyard which plays a large part in its  history.
